Where does People content originate?
CCore People content begins with data from IU Human Resources, via PeopleSoft, which is enhanced with organizational information from IT Community Partnerships, unit managers, and unit and executive administrators throughout UITS.
Who manages the content?
IT Community Partnerships manages information about IT professionals across IU, in coordination with individual support units, while administrators maintain the group data that describes the teams and divisions that make up UITS.
What types of content does it include?
People contains on-campus contact information, alongside professional profiles and position information, and links this to units and departments throughout IU and within the UITS organization.
Where is the content used?
Through the People application, IT professionals can find their colleagues throughout IU, and learn more about their units and the departments they support. Data from People will also drive the UITS org charts and staff listings.
